For the past 4 years I have done my best to represent the people of District 22. I worked hard to keep the 4th Congressional District completely in Greenville County. I fought the status quo education establishment by pushing for the right to choose for parents of school aged children, and I have defended the right to life of both the unborn and elderly. There is still much to be done. The battle is ongoing to keep South Carolina Courts free from the influence of foreign laws. Preventing voter fraud by proactively seeking solutions like voter id’s is one of my top priorities. I have led the way in identifying ways local and state government can reduce cost. Eliminating wasteful and costly unfunded mandates must end. For example, the requirement to post public notices in the newspaper instead of online is costing our taxpayers millions of dollars. State and local agency must do more to leverage modern technology in a way that helps them improve services while reducing taxpayer cost. We have accomplished a lot in the past 4 years, but there is still much work to be done. I hope you will send me back to Columbia so I can continue to work for you. Wendy Nanney Voting Record
